The G.R.I.P. “Hot Steel” Fairway Woods are made from a heat-treated, H2045 cast stainless “Hot Steel,” which is lighter and stronger than the standard metals — 431 and 17-4 steel — used in most fairway woods. By working with H2045 steel, G.R.I.P. decreased the clubs’ face thickness from the standard 3.0mm to 2.0mm. This reduced thickness and the clubs’ shallow face enable the ball to be launched with intense velocity. The clubs’ overall design, including their back-of-the-head weighting, produces higher ball flight and lower spin conditions for unmatched carry and roll.
